What Does the 250r Run with?

Can they keep up with the 450's?? Will they just blow away 400exs? I just wanna who i'll be able to keep up with at the dunes.

The R im buying has a 330 ESR PV in it, soo...thats a slight advantage :p

Should smoke (ok maybe not "smoke", unless you run extra premix.. lol.) them if the porting, pipe, intake, jetting are all correct complimentary.

haha, yeah i'll be running strictly race gas (110, 112, what ever is available here), thats what the PV kit requires. So the 330r should AT LEAST be able to keep up with the 450s?

it kind of depends on where ur ridding.

out in the open like dunes u should be able to walk away from everyone. but on a mx track off the gate a 450 with piston and cam or more is pretty daym fast threw 3 gears

If you are in the dunes you should beat damn near everything except the guys that have their $20,000 shees and such.

I don't know what kind of porting you have, but let's assume a midrange.

If that 330 is running top-notch, it's not a matter of "who you can keep up with."


It's a matter of "who can keep up with you?" A stock 450 shouldn't be able to hold a candle to you. :devil:

Like I said... I don't have much experience with R's, but being a 330 PV it should be real competetive not to mention the price is right...

dont worry Adam. It will pull the color right out of your hair. The 330R will be spankin em like its goin outta style. Also on a MX track You will have no trouble. People need to Ride R's before they can talk!!!!!!:o

400ex's haha NO. 450r , if its piped cammed and ported it will run with your R. The 250r is the best handling quad ever made though , it is really tough to match its performance . Even with these 4 strokes everyone thinks are so great :rolleyes:

Yeah, from what i felt the other day, it rode so smooth! The only REAL differnce I felt was that the first couple gears are so SHORT!
