Rims

Hey i have a 2006 400ex and all of my buddies keep tellin me i need to get some rims...... so ive been lookin around and i kinda like the ITP C-Series but i dunno what do you guys think? i either wanna make everything black or chrome just post what you think!:D

umm they are itp baja rims and for all 4 tires plus rims it was 700 and i got crome valves but i think 345 for just the rims but im not 100% sure....

if u intend to do hard riding cause ive herd of the c series breaking id go with the baja though but its up to u i have the baja's with the hd's.

when you see the c-series in the pictures without the tires, they look nice. but when they are on the bike i think they are ugly. Jmo.:ermm: Maybe black ones would be cool, but i dont like the other ones. If money isnt an issue get hipers:cool:

ya i need some rims pritty bad i ven bent the stock wheels which held up better than the itps the guys gave me with the quad the itps art even a circul any more they are octaganal... i need something REALY TOUGH but also not tough on my pocket.

If I was you I would go with the Baja's in Black they would look tight on that black quad. Then all you will need to do is PC your frame and you would be all set :)

I agree with the comment about the c-series looking better in pictures. I saw a set on a 350 Raptor in Dirt Wheels and they looked kind of funny. They looked sweet in ITP's ad's without tires. I think the polished ITP Baja's look great.

In my opinion, the stock DID rims are pretty strong. I just wish they were polished, I have ITP Pro Series 190's and have bent them trail riding badly in one spot. I had to take the tire off and beat it out with a hammer and a block of wood. the stock rims havent bent at all, just dont look as good. Hipers are the best choice if you are bending rims. You wont have to worry about bent rims anymore.

i say get teh Black Baja wheels. stay away form the c-series if you do any jumping or ride in really rocky areas.

When I was considering new rims I looked at HiPers but they just cost so much! Some people do have pretty deep pockets though.

Hipers are the cheapest wheels made. You buy one set and you'll never buy another wheel. Name the wheel and I've probably trashed it or seen it trashed. .190's, baja ring, aluminum beadlocks. Nothing holds a candle to the hipers. There's a reason I've had hipers on every quad I've owned.
