red hot header

i have a kfx400 with a high compression piston, and stage 2 cams(intake and exhaust). I got a hot dogz race exhaust on it .i recently purchased a procom engineering programmable rev box. After i hooked it up i fired my bike and the header turned cherry red after about a minute or two. then i took the rev box off and put the stock one back on and i got the same result. i've heard that this is bad and also that i shouldn't worry about it. Why is it doing this now?

u need to rejet and make it richer

definitely rejet, the pilot jet will change idle mixture.

what octane gas are you running?

i run race fuel octane 110

[underpowered]

sounds like you are way too lean. have you rejettet at all? you need to go richer.
