Battery Cable question

Last weekend while racing in round 2 of the WORCS series at Taft CA my negative batter cable snapped where it hooks to the battery. I spent over half my moto trying to get it hooked/jammed/connected to restart the quad and get back on the track. I saw 3 other battery cables break during the Sunday Pro Main/Pro-Am. The track was incredibly rough so that is why they were breaking.
Here is my question: Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, did you find some sort of upgraded cable or just replacing it with a new OEM cable? I would really like to find some sort of upgrade but am unsure where or how to go about it.
Also my YFZ has a Lonestar battery box so the battery itself is not the problem

a upgraded cable isnt an issue, if its a straight eye to eye cable let me know how long you need it...or you can have one made locally.
