dude...you had this exact same thread going a few minutes ago...are you just going to keep asking the same question until some one says the 400 will smoke the banshee? if so, then you better plan on spending your night here waiting casue it aint gonna happen

dude. banshees whoop up on 450s let alone a 400. Put it this way, i passed my buddys 400ex that was 5th gear pinned when i was just getting into 5th (shees have 6) it was actually kinda funny, i guess i passed him so fast cause he flipped me off:blah:

the 400 is a good quad, handles great and easy to ride but not noted for speed, the banshee is pretty much like its name, the things run like screaming indians, crazy fast but not normally as easy to ride , the handling is questionable if your new to quads. this is if your being honest in asking..........if your looking for someone to tell you that a 400 could even come close in power or speed well .................you better find a real dreamer

When my 400EX had a pipe and airfilter ( Jetted, of course), I could beat a Banshee until the top of 5th gear.... that would be where the Banshee would coming pulling past. Banshees, well, stock especially, don't make much of their power on the bottom. So, you can usually get the launch, but the Banshee will have a considerable amount more of top-end.

I beat a 400ex with a whitebros pipe and a uni filter today with my quad not even jetted right lol...

the banshee was breaking up because its rich and I still beat him..

k, just to play devils advocate here... i dunno bout the banshee whoopin gup on 450s... 400 yes, but 450, not so much...
no if you're talking about extremely modded banshees, of course, they can be made to be the fastest... but if you take a piped yfz vs a piped banshee, i cant think of one think the banshee would out perform the yfz in. any type of technical riding the 450 would win, and draggin up the hill at the dunes the 450 would win... does the 450 feel as fast or is it as fun, no, but it actually is a bit faster...

dont get me wrong, i love banshees, but the banshee meal ticket is that arm wrenching 2 stroke feel...

A 416 will win... I have already personally seen it. As for the 450 comment, I would have to agree. Banshees aren't all that fast until you really open them up. A 450 will be able to be a stock or slightly modded one no problem, but a worked one will definately give any 450 a run for their money.

i'm sure it did, and i beat several piped raptors and a piped 450r on a bone stock 03 raptor last weekend... that was a question of rider ability not bike ability...


i dont know about a 416 smoking a piped banshee though...

bikes being faster and rider being faster are two different things guys, hence me being able to beat the afore mentioned quads on a stock raptor.
