what has more power? speed, bottom end?? which one will last and hold up I ride in the moutains and stuff and trails I think the warrior is set up better for trails? but I want ya`lls opinion.

later aND THANKZ

if you ride trails i would go with the 300ex, it handles way better and better low end then a warrior and it will hold up better to. A warrior has a better top speed but i can beat my friends warrior in the trails no prob. so i would go with a 300ex any day thats just my 2 cents

Definately a 300. most of the time you wont even get to the warriors top speed. And the warrior is pretty much a tank. You'll like a 300 better.

worriors feel ALOT heavier and im not byiass( think thats how ya spell it) i had the same problem when i was looking for a new fourwheeler(my dad solved that quik by not letting me sell my 250) but i would have choose the 300. warriors rear skid plates fall of my friend whose a yamaha fan told me that and he has a warrior. his is a 98 and pretty much runs like crap. im not sure which has better low end but i know the warriors faster. 300s are very good for trails and hillclimbs.

if you have the $ to put in a warriors motor, they have alot of potential, but the 300 is better out of the box in my opinion.

my uncle has a warrior and i got to ride it last night and i totally lik my 300ex better and his warior even has a pipe and stuff, and anyways my buddies 330ex would kill his warrior. so get a 300ex and if you want more power just bore it

hahahha i agree, go with the warrior and your riding a 400 pound machine, u could easily just get a pipe for the 300ex and be rapen that thing in acceleration, then top speed there is a about a 7 mph dif, but who the **** cares, if u really wanna go fast then buy a banshee, but out of the 2 go with the 300ex, awesome, my buddy is gettin a warrior i cant wait to smoke it......300ex is better for trails to, u can get around quicker and minuver (sp?) better, my opion but the truth:D

i also agree, warriors are out of date, the 300ex has a better design. Warriors are no good for jumping, and the handling on them suck.
meh....:huh

jus my 2 cents

dont 300exs have reverse too???

Personally after having owned a warrior and then bought the 300ex, i would have preferred a warrior. For my type of riding it was a lot better (hillclimbs, bottom end, stability) My 300ex doesnt handle tough situations like my warrior did. I think that the 300ex is underpowered and the 66 or 68 cc difference is very noticeable. Sure you can bore out the 300, but why not just do it to the warrior and have the warrior kick a 330ex's ***? Just remeber that everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Bring on the flames!!

wut????? my brothers friend has one and he says the handling isnt that great compared to my 300ex....hmmmmm....stability ya cause it ways 400 pounds, handling i guess in your area, my 300ex handles great in tough condition wut do u do?? stock the 300ex is better, a article in Dirtwheels even says it, for the warrior it says at top speeds it starts to tap and power starves, so u need new clutch springs and plates even before the tires....now the tires suck so bad i shouldnt have to say much, and the warrior def. needs a FEW things just to get started, as the 300ex is ready to go, can can whoop a wariior without borin, cam, high comp. piston, full sytem pipe, filter, and u r ready to kill and eat the warrior

300exryder, wut r u talkin bout a 330ex gettin whooped by a warrior? i dont even think so! thoes ole tanks cant touch a 330ex and only when they top out can they catch a 300ex and they said that in dirt wheels

Trailrida -- You had said that a 330ex will kill a warrior and then said that if you feel as though you lack power you can just bore the 300ex out. I said that you could do the same to the warrior; bore it out and then it will kill a 330ex -- it is a 2-way street. Personally, im not into the fast open riding and racing on tracks; I enjoy doing tough, technical trails and going over obstacles - something i feel that the Warrior excels at. For all of those people writing about how much the warrior sucks without riding it, just stop spreadng rumors and hearsay until you get a chance to actually ride one. I don't trust magazines and what they say about quads and i would never buy a quad because some magazine said it was superior. I never had a problem with my warrior and tapping or whatever you had said about it doing at high speeds. My clutch never burnt out or broke -- but ironically i just replaced my 300ex's clutch which had already been replaced once(it's only a 97) My warrior had one new clutch put in and it was an 89. Having owned both of the quads i felt that i could share my opinion with whomever started this thread.

Alrighty-then, bring on the flames!! lol

Don't worry im still a Honda fan, but an open-minded one at that.

i hav rode one, alot, and i noticed a few things, i didnt do any 45ft doubles or anything, but, it had nice shox, didnt handle AS well as my R, but handles fine, it wont wheelie very easy, and it clicks and stuff in 6th gear topped (from the stock valve springs), other than that, its a fine quad, 6 gears is sweet, that woulda made the raptor alot better, 6 gears....

Not to bust anyone's bubble, but 300EX's have reverse! they always have, and always will... I have a 2002 300 EX and I have gone backwards many times, the reverse works verry well, except for the complicated engagement methed honda chose to use. Also, a good friend of mine has a stock 2001 warrior, and I raced him through a flat feild, I blew him away on take off and all the way through fourth gear, He finally cought up with me and passed me just as I started winding out fith gear. 300EX's rule dude!!!:D

My first quad I ever rode was a 2002 warrior, and I thought it was pretty good. I waited about a month or so, and bought my 400. I hadn't ridded his quad for quite a while and I rode it again last saturday. Mine, it sucked. The 400 shifted better, handled better, did everything better.

If your going to do hill climbs, the 400 is way better. It has so much more low end, and the tires on the stock warrior suck. There has been countless times where the warriors have a hard time getting up a hill, and my 400 just powers right up. Get a 400, screw the 300. Yea the reverse is nice, but if you don't have it you will get used to it. I usually will only have to get off and turn my quad around once everyride. no big deal.

Food for thought.

I second that, lol, i have a 300ex right now, but in the fall I am gettin my dads 400ex. The 400ex is WAY better than a 300 or warrior. And yes i have rode a warrior :huh , PS Blysters suck even more !

warriors only suck if u dont put the time and money into them, but once you do they open on up, get the springs, valves, high comp piston, and y our ready to fly, also some suspension n new axle, as i have and i have blown away so many 300's (even though i like the feel of them more) mine is still better all around even when it was stock! and NO noises here just plain on good ridin

gettin my kfx or ex soon so i wont have to worry bout this...
