I was trying to figure out what to get my new front shocks valved for. I ride a lot of trails, but i also jump sometimes, like maybe 20 ft. doubles, and 25 ft. tables, but nothing more. I was wondering if i'd be ok to get the shocks valved for XC, or what i should do. I don't want a harsh trail ride, but i don't want to be bottoming out all the time when i jump either. Thanks!

i agree, my shocks are valved for xc, but ive done some indoor mx and big fast ourdoor tracks on them and been just fine. if your real worried about it, you can get them valved with a little more progressive set up, so they will be plush the most of the travel and still be a tad stiffer than xc shocks at the end of the travel

Full XC shocks clearing a 50 foot table and several other jumps and it handled everything great. I did have the compression cranked up but still no hard landings.
