what is the difference between the engine in the crf450(2006 model) and the trx450er6?

I neeed more power!
What is the best and most cost efficient mods to carry out?
I can't help the think the air box is a good place to start, considering the air box intake is about 25mm and the carby throat is 40mm. anyone had any experience?

search the forum, I know there's a thread that starts with free mods for the 06 ER's

cut or take the lid off, k&n filter, rejet, cut the wire everyone talks about, install a pipe, there r a few more things u can do to them, search the forum for more info

get a full pipe like the rossier
rejet
get a new air filter (K&N or UNI)
take the lid off the air box
get either the HRC cam or Hot Cam Stg 2
Clip the green wire on the cdi box to raise the rev limiter

and wam bam thank you mam

and if you want more low end power, drop the front sprocket down to a 13 tooth leave the back at 39 tooth.
