06 Honda 450R v.s. 06 YFZ Yamaha 450

Aight,

I'm trying to decide between the Honda and Yamaha 450's. I've been a Honda man my whole life and the Honda is more appealing to me but my friends are giving me crap and sayin that the yamaha is better. What do you guys think??????

I say ride both and see what you like. I wouldnt care what my friends liked cause your the one thats paying for it and will be the one riding it. Im sure you will choose the red I mean right bike. :devil:

Honestly if the Yami's were a little more reliable I would take one over a 450 . Get what you like , I dont like the feel of the 450r , and i feel great on the yfz Idk what it is.

Ill stick to red just for reliability , a 250ex is faster than any yfz if the yfz is broke ;)

yeah just do what feels right! Dirt Wheels said the Honda put out i think like 2 more ponies, but they felt the yfz was much more comfortable???:confused:

i havent had a chance to ride the new 06 machines yet, but in the past i have always liked both macines! go to a dealer and test both of them out!!!!

Yeah well I'm going to be riding "red" once again. I went out and test rode the 450r and liked it much better than my cuz's 05yfz. thanks for all of the help...please continue to post any helpful info.

i say you dont be friends with them any more haha and buy the honda...but the yami is good too.., this year i think the honda is the machine of the year, dont listen to what dirt wheels says, i swear the author for all those articles is paid to write good stuff about the yami

It comes down to feel for me........I don't like the YFZ due to the flat seat/ bar relationship. I do like the Honda layout alot better FOR ME.
