my buddy has about four 230's they can really take a beating. i have a picture but no idea how to load it up here.

well the reason I'm asking, is because I'm thinking about tryin to get ahold of one, but I just realized for a long time I've been confusing them with 250r's so I wanna see some 230s, and how they do compared to other quads.

if you have an email i could email you a pic of one, i have some video of a 230 too. i love 230's they have a decent amount of go for there engine size. you can still get quit a few parts easily. the one problem i have with them is the chain pops and goes trough the casing.

I have a question, are lt230s near the same size as 250r's?? also are there any different plastics you can put on 230"s? I saw a 250r with 400 ex plastics and it was awesome.

An LT230 is nothing like a 250r, and since your talking about a 250r with 400ex plastic I'm guessing your talking about the honda 250r right? If so they are compleatley different.

from what i see the 230 and 250r's look about the same i know some of the parts are intercangeable with 250rs and 300 -400ex's

A 230 is a little 4 stroke . A 250r is a very powerfull 2 stroke. These two quads dont compare . A Lt 230 compares to a 250ex , but it is smaller than a 250ex as well. ( 250ex smaller than a 300ex )

lol, man, I've always been in the dark, for like all my life I though 230s were 2 strokes..dahhhh. hmm, crap, well I dunno if I want one anymore. well in size..say there was somebody like 5 ft 10..would they be super cramped on it?? cuz it would be cool if they arent too small to still get it, and make it a hybrid..throw af reakin like 400ex motor in there or somethin. or a 250 2 stroke.

well from what I've decided from talkin to poeple..If I cant get somebody on this forum t trade me a 250r for my scrammy or dirtbike..then I'm just gonna aprt the scrammy out on ebay and get a 250r project quad.

it went through any and all mud tho.. the person who owned it before me, did not do one bit of maintanance.. he used it for hunting. damn quad gave me stitches from the kickstarter snapping and gettin lodged in my leg.

well.. when i first got it, the rack was the only thing holding up the front plastic.. i only kept it for 3 months. about 2 months it was in pieces. Never buy anything at nighttime in someones back yard.. it looked better till i looked at it the next day and was like.. what did i do

My friend had one of those 230s when we were kids, you couldn't kill that thing if you tried . He traded it in for a 250r a long time ago, he did good in that deal.....
