250r shock on 400ex

ok so i have been looking for a rear shock and found a good deal on a 250r shock... anyone put a 250r shock on a 400ex. is it valved to light or is it good let me know thanks

they are way too long to work...and I think the bottom fork is different....250R rears are like 16 1/4" eye to eye.....and the 400ex is like 14" somewhere...I think....don't quote me on that

theirs a guy on atvconnection that has a 450r rear shock on his 400ex.
