Hi, I want to buy these AC heelguards from a member here. They are pictured installed on AC Pro-peg nerfs. I have the original AC standard nerfs (non pro-peg). Will these heelguards still fit mine? Thanks for your replies..

My standard nerfs:

Yes they will fit but you will need about a 1/2 " metal plate to fill in the space and make up for the pegs.

those are exactly what I put on mine, I had to trim the inside corners where they bend up to bolt to the footpeg just a bit because they stuck up above my stock footpegs. Mine only had about a 1/4" gap between the heelguard and the footpeg and I just put a thick washer on the bolts in that gap. But when I was fitting mine up to my nerfs there were a few different angles you can mount them, so you might not have to make any modifications.

Alright sweet, thanks a lot guys. I was looking for first-hand answers :D I've been riding w/o heelguards for way too long now and I think i've been pushing my luck just a bit :o

Makes sense that you had to trim the part that bolts to the peg. I believe the pegs on the pro-peg are a bit lower than stock right?
