480R jetting

I have just installed an Athena 480 kit with 10.7:1 compression in my quad as well as an HRC cam. I run a HMF full race exhaust and a stock airbox lid. I am having some trouble with jetting and was wondering if there was anyone else out there with a similar setup that could give me a place to start? thanks a lot.

My 480 I used a

52 pilot
190-195 main
HRC Needle I cant remember if it was the 3rd or 4th clip..

A aftermarket Needle is the key to the puzzle


Oops I see you use the Stock lid,I dont run the lid.

I just did the same thing but i have a 185, 50 pilot and the pilot screw out 2.5 turns but it has a pop if it idles for about minute got a little better when i did the extra 1/2 turn on the pilot.this is a little under sea level

I have the 480 athena, hot cams stage 1, fmf powerbomb header and LRD slip on, aftermarket air filter and hrc lid with outerwears cover. I run the stock 48 pilot, a 178 main, and a dynojet needle, can't remember if the needle is on 3 or 4.
