Whats a good price for an 03?

hey ppl, My brother is considering buying an 03 kfx 400 bone stock with around 40 hours on it. Its clean and the rear plastics have a bit of stress marks. It runs great but needs a new battery from lack of use. the guy selling it bought it new and is a buddy of mine. I know he took care of it the few times he rode it.
Any opinions on the would help me out alot and give you a new member to this forum. He said he would take 3000. thanks a bunch.

I got my 03 a year ago. it had low hours, yoshi pipe, nerf bars, k&n,
speed kit for $3,000

For a bone stock quad it isn't to bad. I'd tell him replace the battery and i'll give you 3. Also gotta think if the rear plastics have stress marks it prolly was aither stood up or rolled. I'd check the frame and subframe b4 buying it.

awesome, thanks alot for the help. My brother is for sure gonna get the quad. Its alot of help when ppl who own a particular quad give you feedback. I got a 05 raptor 660 and its gonna be sweet to actually be able to go out and ride together rather than switch off every 15 min. Anywho thanks again. Later
