i have a 04 r.i have a hrc kit installed, pipe port and polish stage 2.i just pulled off my gas tank and checked the valves.i found that the left/side exhaust is .0013,right side is .009.the intakes are both .005-1/2.as per the hrc manual intakes are with-in specs.but as the exhaust there diffently out of specs.could that be causeing my r to stall and be hard to restart even using the hot start?.........

This is the reason that your quad was starting hard. when i went to ajust my valves, in my 450 they were way off, i mean like 3 thousands on the intake and 4 on the exhaust. i ajusted them to specks and it starts so much easier. and it runs better too.
