anyone ever wiegh these two tires?i would really like the HD's, but between the xtra traction and extra wieght, i dont know how well the blaster will pull them

i believe the HD's weigh more, i had problems with the fronts when i ran them, im running maxxis tires now, but after 2 races each front tire had 3 punctures in the sidewall, i have brand new rears in my garage that i have never used, and dont intend to use, they will go on my dads bike just for trail riding, i would never race on HD's again, maxxis tires are just all around better

as for the rear HD's, i hear great things about them, i am pretty sure they weigh more, but hook up really well from what i hear

a blaster wont pull the hd's i guarantee it.in one dirtwheels magazine they had them on a yfz 450 and they said they where 17.9lbs in front and 26lbs in the back thats with the regular aluminum rims.

Yeah, the HD's do weight a lot. I am not sure that you will benefit from the extra traction unless you have a 450 or beefed out quad OR you ride in slow. In my case, I am in soup-holes half of the time.

As for their longevity, I havn't had a problem with either my front or rears.

The HD's do weigh more but since regular holeshots blow out sidewalls on twigs I like the heavier tire better.

that 8 HP blaster might not turn them though....

That's a lot of balls for a blaster! I grow up on one and they are pretty fun:p . I just wish my 400ex had 35 hp.

lol

anyway, i'm thinking of getting them mainly for muddy races where its more slippery, i would assume that makes it easier to turn the tires? think that will be ok?

I'd get them If I had the money. HDs are crazy, my friend has them on his KFX and every time your on the gas there's always a roost behind you. I deffiently think that the traction is worth the extra weight.

Go with them..:macho

i know what you mean yurik, but ive always had such good luck with ITP's, and i would like to keep the rears the same brand as the fronts for contingency
