I've been looking for a carb for my new alba Z440 and i want to get a FCR carb but every compony that has them says there for a twist throttle. Is there anyway to get on for a thumb thottle or switch it from a twist to a thumb? And will i have to a longer boot on either side of the carb for it to fit?

All you need to do is get a 450r throttle cable and housing and it will be perfect.

I did in on my z400:devil:

Honestly, I don't know what you mean, but I know you need a 450r throttle and throttle housing.

Is there a reason i have to use a 450r throttle; why can i use the stock z400 throttle? And the two cable thing; that twist throttle for that carb is a two cable throttle, one for pull and the other for return

The threads are the wrong length on the stock cable, you would have to tap the threads.

just get a sparks 39 fcr. it is already setup to run with your stock z throttle cable
