Trx 450R or LT-R450

[450R-156]

If buying a new quad for mx racing what would be bettter a 450R with a couple grand into modifications or a Lt-R450 pretty much stock

the 450r , the new bike is gonna have a few minor bugs to work out in its first year released .

id go with lt-r450. in dirt wheels they tested these 2 quads against each other and the lt450 was consistantly faster although i see why xx3003xrdrxx would wait but i couldnt wait:devil:

it was Doug Gust against "A Honda450R". That is no comparison. Doug Gust should smoke any JO-blo at the track with a 450r. Why not wait until they do a real side by side match up to make that assumption. Of course this is dirt wheels we are talking about so the Honda doesnt have a prayer.
If you really want a suzuki you should try to wait until next year ,it gives them a chance to work out any problems that can or do arise. GREG

450R got mine sunday. Look at the MX results Honda is all over the Board Gust has one win and then a 10th palce i think Honda is consitent.

Dirt Wheels gives the best reviews on whomever is paying the add, if Yamaha wanted you to believe that the Raptor 350( warrior) was the next best thing to the trx450r- then Dirt Wheels would compile all kinds of results making their readers believe. I feel its more in the riders ability to make the quad , not the quad make the rider.

Treat it like a ford...you never buy the first models in the first year after production...like everyone else has said...give them at least a year to work out the bugs and the recalls...if you could ride both for yourself before you buy that would be best, but it doesn't always work out that way.

We got in the new LT-Rs and they were gone so fast...we already have more on order...I didn't even get to see one of them they were gone so fast!!

Should be getting some in a few weeks or so...

ANyway...the new LT-R sounds pretty cool...but so are the 450Rs...Give the suzuki a year if you decide you want that one...unless you don't care about possible bugs or recalls...

Enough said....both great machines and their just going to keep getting better...
