Well, my build has come to a screeching standstill.

Mickey Dunlap is experiencing some health issues and is not currently selling stuff.

Does anyone have a spare 330 sleeve laying around (80mm bore) for a 300ex?

The piston was hard enough to find and now Im looking at a 3-4 week minimum backorder for a sleeve.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Advanced doesnt do the 300ex stuff anymore, neither does LA Sleeve or Wiseco.

Powroll's 330 sleeve requires case machining for some reason.

all 330s require case shaving even fst's the sleeve is just to big for the whole in the cases. it not hard to do

Thanks everyone. I decided to go with the Powroll Stroker and 80mm bore.

Sometimes the 330 requires shaving, sometimes it doesn't.

Mine didn't.

Once the cylinder is off.. if you see a step in the metal where the 2 cases come together, it usually needs shaved a little to clear the new sleeve, if they are lined up it usually doesn't need shaving. Just make sure you have some space between the sleeve and the case for expansion of both parts.
