im looking at getting the pro chain and sprocket kit from magic racing for my 300. it comes with a JT chromoly steel front, JT steel rear and a EK520RX gold x ring chain. what are your opinions on this kit?? the kit cost $79.99. to me it dont sound bad but im not sure about the quality. im dont race or jump hard just ride woods, slate dumps and stuff like that. im just looking for more speed.

ek makes good chains, my preference is for DID for the simple reason i've never had one break on any application. steel sprockets are the best to use if your not racing professionally. $80 is about right for all 3 pieces.

since you went up in front but down in rear your probably close to correct length. it may be a bit long, takeing out links is easy. grinder, and a chain tool.

no i did not have to. i just tighten the chain just a bit. i mights take a link out so i have more adjustability on my chain but its good now. just the right amount of slack.
