have a 400ex but now want a 4x4 utility. been looking at polaris sportsman 500efi and 800. are these good quads or is there something better. any feedback would be great . thanks
I would look at the Praire (not Brute), King Quad, and Rincon. They are the sportiest of the utes and you would probably like them more. I think Polaris makes there machines too heavy and I had a Polaris PWC that was JUNK reliability wise.
There is also a new 800 Bomb that you can have for a King's ransom.

I have a Polaris Sportsman 500 and I am very pleased with it... The sportsmans have great reliability, and the new efi's are great. But as these guys were saying, they are crazy heavy... The 500 weights about 700 pounds:eek2: ! And they are rear heavy. But they ride very smooth and comfortable. I kinda like the looks of a grizzy, but it just depends on your personal preference. Good luck with whatever you choose!:macho

Depending what size you want. I got a Suzuki Eiger 400, and ikeepup with most of the big bore guys easily. Also, i have not found a mudhole that i got stuck in and someone else made it thru. It's also the best value price wise. You can get a brand new one for around $4500
