300EX axle in 250r swinger

Wondering if a 300EX axle will fit in 250r swinger. About to sell my swinger and customer wanted to know. Don't feel like tearing down my swinger. Will the 300EX carrier fit in a 250r swinger.

No, the 250r swinger is wider in the rear. The axle will fit but you cant put the axle nut on. Now if he wanted to do some milling off the housing where the carrier fits and use the 300ex carrier then it may be possible but thats alot of work just to put in a 300ex axle and plus that would be all that swinger could ever use. If hes just trying to save money by using a 300ex axle that he already has he could sell the axle on ebay and probley make enough money to buy a good used 400ex or 250r axle. A good 300ex axle on a good day can sell for 80 to 90 bucks.
