06400ex vs 06 kfx400 in the susp department

Im getting ready to buy a 06 kfx400 the place im buying it at is a honda and kawi dealer,the saleman said "the 06 kfx has better suspesion on it then the 06 400ex because it has the front shocks with rezzies" someone else said that the honda has better susp,in saying better susp i mean soaking up a abusive ride threw the whoops,wouldnt the kawi be a btter ride?


also in a flat out drag race and top speed which is faster?

The KFX is better in every department you asked about...anyonje will agree.

The EX is very good but the KFX is the next step after the EX design..

Kawai all the way. Alot better susp, and a better motor. The 400 ex has a outdated motor

kfx has alot of better suspension, the ex has stiff suspension in the front.

the kkfx/z400 are nice quads i have had mine for a yr now and the only thing wrong was the clutch plates but the 400ex is a nice qaud as well good at riding wheelies

ask this question in the 400ex and you may get a diff result. I think the z400 is a notch better in each catagory. put a pipe, jet, K & n, on each and they get alot closer togeather seems the z comes a little more opened up than the ex. there is a big diff in the years of z400 the new ones 05-06 will put it on the older ones. all in all riders skill would play big part. there is one other thing to consider......there is a reason there are soooooo many 400ex's out there, they are very dependable and a running quad is always faster than the one in the shop.
