Please give me some advise, I need new tires for my 400 ex, we have alot of hills and trails where I live. I was told by our local atv shop to try mudlites on the back and Kenda on the front, But I really wanted some Maxxis Razr tires. What tire does anyone reccomend? I could use anybody's help.
Thanks in advance!!

I would suggest one of the Maxis Razor series or ITP Holeshot series tires.

Not mudlites. Razr2's are the heat. For less money you can get some Kenda's either Knarly or Klaw XC's. Whatever you get make sure they are 6 ply.

If you have the $ I would get Razr2's all the way around.

i think the hd's r the best on the trails. the only down fall on them is they r alittle heavy if thats a concern for u .

Yeh Do not get mudlights for a sport quad. I love my Razr 2's but have also never heard a bad thing about Holeshot HD's. Either way ya cant go wrong.

I just bought IRazr's and I love them. They hook up great. But then again not many people run them so there might be a problem I haven't came across yet.

hands down Kenda knarly out back, claws up from. The Knarly is The Best trail tire there is IMO. tried pretty much all of em and the knarly is my favorite.

if money is the issue, razrs all around and you will be very happy, if money is not an issue, i recommend razr2s all the way around or holeshot HD

I have mudlights on my bike, The guy I bought it off of had them on it. They've been on it for 2yrs. They are good for mud and hills but they are pretty bulky. The smallest ones are 22'' i think thats what mine are. Im gonna get razors....Honda#4 thats a nice ex

the hd's are a good tire but are much heavier. I have a set of 20" hd's and a set of 22" razr 2's. the 20" hds are as just about heavy as the razr 22's. therefor are more power robbing.

just bought a some razr 2's for the back of my ex and i love them, they are wearing down pretty quickly tho :( really watch out for road if you buy them... but they are good trail tires, also work great for hill climbs

i bought them for my quad and my first set got stolen right out of my shop before i could even get them on and try em out... so i had to dish out some more cash for replacements

You're probably not going to be happy with anything other than what you want. Something you might consider if you don't mind a 22" tire is the Maxxis All-Trak's. They would probably fit your description of what you ride very well.

The plus side of them is they are very inexpensive, low $40's if you shop around.

Kenda claws are what I run. 6 ply up front 4 in the back. Although I do like the looks of holeshot HD's, but not for that price. A 20" tire for mt car is only like $30 more tham that.
