Took my 400ex engine apart today, the crank shaft has major bluing where it connects with the connecting rod and the top of the connecting rod are a brown red color, do i need a new crank shaft. All replies appriciated. Thanks:ermm:

color can only be an indication of a problem, you will need qualified help to check for side to side play in the crank to see if its needing a new unit
