9" vs 8" wheel

what are some of the pros and cons for 8" and 9" wheels? i have a set of 8" hipers and would like to know what would be the cons for going with the 9" hipers. i also race mx only so i know 8" wheel is the only size wheel i have ever used for mx and wanted to know what would i lose or gain for going with the 9" over the 8" wheel.

(i know about the integrated hub on the 8" and the 9" does not have the hub, thats my reason for wanting to swap over.)

thanks! i figured that would be the difference. i guess better cornering with a 8" over the 9" .

it's all debatable.
I actually use a 10 inch rim for the dunes or mx.

I have both 8" and 9", and I prefer the 8". Little more cushion.

so would you guys go back with the 9" hiper or go with an alum. 8" beadlock wheel?
