will a stock 400ex axle fit a 300ex?

with some modification it might but it will not bolt right up. a 350x axle will bolt right up. the axle is +2 over stock 300ex.

can you use the stock carrier and bearing and other things like the brake rotor and sprocket hub?

every thing is interchangable other that than the wheel hubs.

Wheel hubs do fit. I used my 300ex hubs on a 450r axle which is the same as 400ex axle. The axles do fit in the 300ex carrier but you will have to use a aftermarket axle lock due to the longer spline section on the 400 and 450 axles. The 300ex swingarm is also a bit more narrow then the others.

ok then every thing is interchangeable. u can use a 300ex barring carrier and axle with it too, im doin that cuse i have a nice axle.
