View Full Version : Good Jets to start with?

I am wondering what would be the best jets to start with when tuning my Bike. It has an 11:1 440 kit, stock carb, Uni filter, pro circuit t-4 exhaust (Wide Open), aftermarket rev box, race clutch, 16 tooth front sprocket and 38 tooth rear (more speed). I haven't even run it yet for fear of a lean condition. A little advice would come in handy.

Im running a 170 main with 42 pilot, clip on needle 2nd notch from the bottom

Cool thanks, I probably will start with that. Have you had any problems with your 440 kit? Any tips when breaking it in?

mine was already installed when I bought it, no I havent had any problems with it, it has been installed for about 3 years now.
