I would do something different, maybe a KX500 motor or the new RMZ450 motor!

There is a guy on BT that has a Raptor with a KTM 520 (I think) motor. He said that thing rips! I could only imagine how it would be in a bike with a better chassis like the YFZ.

id like to see some with some 250 2 strokes, someone on hear has a blaster with a yz250 abd it looked prettty kick arse
and balls2 da walls the cr500af is a cr500 in a cr250 aluminum frame (hence the af), it is still the same motor as the origional cr500's

Gotcha- I dont want to hi-jack this thread but would anyone happen to know if the CRF450R uses an oil cooler and a coolant reservoir?

I ask this because my crf hybrid is almost complete but when i look on service honda to find parts on the CRF it doesnt show an oil cooler or reservior, or even a radiator fan.

i am about 99% sure that the cr does not use an oil cooler. the crfx uses a coolant resevoir, but the crf doesnt,,if i were you i would run one though

I would love to see a few of the chasis with the 250f engines in them for youth classes. I believe all these 12-15 year old kids wouldn't even want a 450 if the had a quad that would rip like the 250F bikes.

There are 3 YZ250F quads around here. Two are in stock 400ex frames and one that I mostly built in a LSR frame, lobo front and all the other goodies.
