K & N filter

My k & n filter will not fit in my air box on my 300ex. why?

you have to bend the plastic thing coming up and make it go in, it should fit, also chck your recept and see if it is for the 300ex or not

i thought the same thing when i got mine, i even called up to make sure i got the right one but i did, you really need to jam it in there, pull the stopper tube back with one hand, and stick the front of the filter in with the other and then push the back down

my friend cut the tube off his but i wouldnt, its hollow and water could easily get in
