I currently ride a 02' 300ex and I am looking for suggestions as to what to do to it. I would like to get an extended rear axel and also suspension upgrade... I do not want to buy the top of the line products due to being a college student, but I would like to get the upgrades. Any advice, links, or suggestions would be great... THANKS

Go for some elka rec fronts shocks, GForce Axel and a 2001 raptor rear shock.

Thanks... I have notiiced the raptor rear shock a lot... what is so special about it? Do you have a website where I could find that GForce axel? What do the Elka fronts usually run?

p.s. I also ride woods and xc... therefore, what is the best to do with the axel?

I race XC too. My dual rate elka fronts were 450 with free shipping and shock covers from here..

and the raptor rear is just a better overall shock compared to the stock 300ex rear shock. Plus the raptor shock has a ressivor, but only the 2001 raptor 660 shock will work because it is the only one with a remote ressie.

The axel can be found at

if you have anyother question just let me know, my aim screen name is Sjorge3442.

mx300ex stop telling everyone to use the search button its really annoying. why do you are so muhc about posts being posteed over and over.. this posting helps people who do not know much about their quad learn. every single thread has been repeated....OH WELL

but back to your question....elka rec shocks or even some cheap works will do good for the front. the raptor shock is a huge improvement and the geforce axle is a great axle... you can it from www.rockymountainatv.com mine came with a life time warrenty and i havent bent it yet

please shut up about that.

you can do a 350x rear end. the rear shock on a 350x alot better than the 300ex and its like 1 and half inches longer than the axel is longer too.
