Try adjusting the fuel mixture screw.

If it only has a K & N filter it should only be like 1 above the main jet. Pilot is mostly the owners choice.

what if i replace the 170 main jet wiht the stock one and keep the 42 pilot in????......cuz before i changed both jets my bike would die off if i had it pinned out

i live at sea lvl and i used to run a k&n with no aibox lid and a curtis sparks full system and i had a 42 pilot and a 155 main a 170 sounds gigantic if you ask me. at the most i would run like a 160 and then tune it with the fuel mixture screw.
