looking to do a rebuild on my EX but need to save some cash to do everything i want, some of it i need to do. some of it i figure i will hav eto buy new, but here is everything i need.
+4 stroker crank
Stroker piston ( any bore, bike needs resleeved anyway)
Timing chain guides
HD timing chain
Clutch basket (prefer aft. mrk. but will take stock)
Plastic fr. and rr. (yellow or black)
Shifter shaft
Graphics that will fade black front to yellow rear


have some parts to trade.
WB 1870 grind cam (all around)
as soon as i get a stroker i will have a GC Hot Rods stock stroke crank
WB Pro meg header (will not fit slip ons)
Rave snowboard
also have a 700R4 4X4 tranny, need work fresh rebuild just leaks fluid ont front main
350 block out of 1992 TBI truck
a few misc. other small parts.

I have a set of yellow plastic for the rear not cracked I will trade for that cam.You pay shipping on fenders.

no thanks, i just need some black fronts now because i think i am getting the yellow rears from parts eeter.

yep, thats it. cam has aout 1.5 years of riding on it as far as i know. i will try and get some pics to you tonight. it has a wide power range. it had nice bottom end and great midrange but still pulled on top. i can tell it has more bottom than my stage 2 hotcam i just installed but not as much topend. i cant really compare it to stock since i have never ride a 400ex with a stock cam..

Ok sounds like a nice consrevative cam.In my younger days I would have went 12:1 with a bigger cam,but I like stump pullers that run as good or slightly better than stock on top.If not just for reliability for a little better fuel economy.I ride sometimes close to 100 miles in a session.Sometimes no fuel stops available,and in my area an empty fuel tank could mean a bear gets a full belly at MY EXPENSE!!:eek2:

IMO it is a very nice woods cam. i was able to do a 70 mile trip in the fall without ever hitting reserve, with a much larger jet than you will most likely run too.
