Alright well here is my predicament... i have itp mudlites on my R cause here in alberta some of the trails can get pretty knarly and some areas go in and out of sand so i thought these would hook up nice and they do... now the problem is they have such high side walls that the bike gets real tippy during high speed turns or powerslides... if i where to let some air out of them would that help? or should i just put the stockers back on for now? and i think i may be losing abit of power with these? anyone have any suggestions?

change the gearing.

lettin air out will help a bit because you will get more traction and they will be a little shorter. But if you want to eliminate that feeling than you will have to get new tires. I think..someone tell me if im wrong

changing the gearing would help with some of the power loss maybe? but wouldn't help with the high sidewall... maybe i will just have to go back to stock...if i where to change the gearing would getting a new rev limiter help?

You know to tell you the truth im not sure if there 22's they fit on my stock rims... 12 tooth front sprocket is that stock? if i where to change sprockets wouldn't i be better of with a 13 tooth? im clueless when it come's to tire setups:confused: :(

Then i would say they are 22's they sit up real high look kinda like funny car tires on the back of my quad lol....so if it comes down to getting new tires what would be a good tire for the varied conditions i ride? trails, abit of sand, hard packed terrain and hopefully do some mx this summer?

get some 20" tires definately. I prefer Kenda Klaws and do some of that stuff. the tires are your problem ;)

get either a set of holeshot hd's or a set of maxxis razr2 20"'s. I have seen the hd's go through tons of snow and mud down here in minnesota. You can't go wrong with either set. Also the 22" maxxis surtraks are awesome. They even allow you to slide a little still.

I have 22" rears and 23" frounts (razr2) and I found that if you put more air in them they feel less tippy becasue the side walls dont flex as much! i run about 5 to 8 psi.

I love the extra ground clearence and traction with the 22" ( this thing is a tank) but when they wear out im getting 20" for sure!!!
