Which one is better?

i know all about running a 400ex front end on a 300ex but would a 250R front end work better? or be wider??

i think that all in all the 400 front end would be easier to mount onto the 300 than the 250r's. i could be wrong but i was thinking that the 300 and 400's front end geometry was slightly more similar to each other than to that of the 250r.

I have used both and they are the same lenth. Only thing the 400ex top a arms have bit more flat bend in them. The 400ex a arms feels beter on steering. With the 250r you get a slight toe out that can not be adjusted to fix. This all with the 300ex knuckles.
