my freind was at raush creek yesterday, he said it was the best place he has ever been to. we live in nj and the only reason we havent gone yet is because of a almost 3 hour drive.
he's going back next sunday the 21st and i think im gonna go with em, he said it was so awsome, that there is like a 100ft double there,hopefully i can get up the balls to hit it.

u should go on on the 17th and 18th its gonna be a great time...

haha man that jump is giving u problems? i was just there saturday and got a bunch of pics. some guy had to get air lifted out though he wrecked on the 2nd stepup :( not a pretty sight. but i wanna hit that big double sooooo freakin bad i can taste it cause i know i can make it just i dont take the other double after it or the 1 after the step up....i shuld hit them then the big 1. i might attempt it when u guys are there for whitnesses :p ill be there sunday cause ill have off work. the jump that was giving me probs was the 1st tabletop...i overshot it by like 10 feet about 5 times i thought i snapped my swingarm....it hurt but i kept goin i bent the bars though lol. that jump is really fun all it takes is balls.....tommy hit the step up in bout mid 3rd and its all good.

hey guys i will try to get there. i am gonna have to beg my dad to let me order some works(only like 300 buck but its money i dont have) i will prolly just order the rear for my bike also. so if i go where should we all meet? ill e the guy on a 250r with beat up plastic gold rear rims with holeshot mx's on it and either stock 400 frt. shocks or works.(ill try to borrow my friends 400 but he will prolly go after i tell him hahaha

last time we all just met in the parkin lot... the place isn't that big and u will def be able to find us... we will either be on the tracks or at the parkin lot...

i know i won't be onl the trail at all... and norm def won't be on the trails...

i'm probably gonna get there around 11 or 12 on sat and leave at 5 on sunday...

it sucks when u mess up on the tabletop but still like on my 1st lap i usually roll over the tabletop and crack her open and hit 3rd and still clear the stepup so its not that tough :p so what day should i go? probably sunday cause norm and most of the other ppl will be there. let me know what day will be the best cause i only have 1 more free pass left. we should go up the 1st weekend in august so we can ride the bike track that 1 rocks :D but id probably kill myself trying to take the 80fter again lol.

banshee i would come on sunday if i were u... probably when most people will show but i will be there both dayz... campin outs probably gonna be the best part bc my parents aren't stayin there they are goin back to harrisburgh or home to stay they don't know which one yet...

i remember beerock was tryin to work a deal out with the owners of the track about lowerin our admission for a group ride... i think it was like 20$ if we had so many people and for me right now 2 dayz is 50$ so a 5$ a day deduction would be nice... i'll have to look back for the tread about it...

norm running motos would be kinda cool...

i wish we could go the 1st week but i will be gettin certified for scuba diving that weekend and norm is goin to georgia or something...

everyone that comes u will def have a great time... this place is awesome...

im 30 years old my freinds are droppin like flies.
ive been to like 5 weddings in the last 2 years.at leaste this one is closer then my house, haha.
a few weeks ago i wanted to go to mt morris to the nationals, but my wife was pregnant so i couldnt, she just had the baby on july 4th.

man, that place kicks *****, we had a blast....
but back on the first page of this post i did say i was going this weekend too. i didnt see anyone from ex riders was there.
quad track was great very well groomed,i hit all the jumps no prob.i hit the dirt bike only track for a few laps and then got the boot. the track in the woods is pretty fun,no jumps but something real differnt for me. the dirtbike/quad track wasnt that good, it wasnt veru maintaned it was real real rutted out, although i spent some time hitting the big jump down near the road close to rt 81, looks like its around 60-70, not sure but its a double with a tabletop landing, it was fun cool jump to do some tricks on.

sweet....yea that jump is pretty big thats another 1 i wanna hit cause u got a good run at it and the gap really aint that huge if u dont make it all the way u got the tabletop to hit. natalie was hitting that 1 alot jumping ppl lol. did u let off at all for it or keep it pinned? what gear? did u hit the single 2 tabletop on the quad track? i wannna hit that 1 so freakin bad along with the 50ft double but i probably wont clear the single to tabletop and im wondering how bad its gonna hurt to land on top of the tabletop. that sx track u were on is fun though alot of doubles and hard stuff so i usualy just roll over them then hit the whoops i love those whoops and the tabletop section. its not that well groomed but its still fun. the woods track has a few jumps like right when u come out theres like a small double i guess then that big jump their always fun. we should have a good time in august.

the big double with the tabletop landing i was hitting in 3rd pretty much hammered, as soon as i can out of the turn from second i hit 3rd, slipped the clutch alittle and held it the whole way, i was making it pretty easy, i think i could have gotten more distance if i hit it in 4th.
yes i was hitting the single to the table top landing on the quad track too but was landing on the middle of the table top, its a hard landing so i stopped hitting it cause i was putting to much abuse on my bike.

Yes, I know him, his name is Jeffrey Thompson. He goes there alot because he lives very close. My bud Bob Miller almost beat him at High Point, but this guy is very fast. He is currently ranked #1 in the +30 class as of high point.

i never bashed anyone for talking about that place, what i did say was that its a far ride for me and i can hit big jumps like that at my own practice track, i didnt need to drive almost 3hrs to do it. i never said you sucked or the place sucked, if im wrong find the old post and show me.

but you are right about the bikes riding on the quad track ever once and a while id see a few bikes on there and it seemed like it took alot longer for them to get kicked off the it took for me on there track.

yea it used to be like that with the bikes being on our track but now the past 2 times i was there it was the way it should be no bikes on our track. if its like empty i dont think they care to much though. on the 1st weekend of the month is open track day its so awesome. but then that makes me wanna do the big 80fter lol. theres usually a track official watching the tracks all the time now i always see them buzzing around the prob is most of them are hot chicks lol i almost lost it a few times cause they sit there and smile at u im like heeey o **** turn!

the only time the bikes came on the track when iw as there was when the guy broke his legs and they had to shut down the bike track and the supercross track was being worked on ... we had 3 bikes on the track and as soon as they opened up the reg bike track they made them leave...

tina, do you know how far this jump is?it looks to me to be about 60-70ft, its the jump on the far thrack, the quad and bike track, its the jump that kind of runs along the road the track is on, its a double into a tabletop landing.

Hello everyone.

Just wanted to let you all know that John Natalie will be at Rausch Creek this weekend. Aug. 10th and 11th.

I just love to watch this guy ride. He is unbelievable on a quad!!

welp i wont be riding it looks like...i broke my frickin ankle. ill hobble up there though lol....they changed the layout alot and i personally dont like it very much...its not to good for us normal riders. they made the tabletops longer, and the 2nd stepup is now like a freakin gigantic 50-60ft stepup/double which i think u gotta be a freakin pro to do. ya well....

i hope you are back on your feet asap bansheeguy...sorry to hear it.

i hope the track managers realize new riders and the majority of riders need a track to learn on. every track i ride at changes it to the point where unless yer joe pro its pointless. i love to jump and race....but i got work and a family to get to after the track. hope yer listenin!!

WTF!!!!! Those people at Rausch Creek are ****ing morons. Dammit, it looks like they are slowly turning into Jack Frost now, were they make there jumps the size for your expert/pro riders.

I got a job to attend to the next day and I just wanna go out and have some fun,,,, not kill myself.

yep thats ur new "stepup". and thanks for the concern kenny but i think i got some good news im slowly hobbling i guess u can call it walking on it so i dont htink its broke. just like severly sprained or somehting atleast i hope. what happened was on the 3rd set the last tabletop they must have made it longer cause i could clear it no prob in 2nd pinned but now im hittin it in 3rd wot and not making it and bouncing over well i bounced over like usual but quad went somewhat sideways i moved to correct it and its right when they watered it and i had mud on my pegs and foot slipped off when it landed hit the ground and my peg smashed into the back of my leg then i managed to get it up and pull off to the side shout some nice words then drive to the side and shout some more nice words. ya well **** happens i guess. but norm i fully agree with everything u said. i mean i know rausch has alot of pros (i think it was pro day today cause there were alot of 15k quads there) but anywho u guys should build like an amateur track for us normal riders. i liked the way the track used 2 be at the begining then it changed and got bigger which was tougher but still cool but now its getting not so cool. and when i talked with mike he said that he wants to try to make it like an actual track to get u prepared for racing and stuff which i understand but some of us just like to kick it on some jumps that are not overly freakin huge. sorry for venting guys i still like rausch.

yah i think they should also make a track with a little bit smaller jumps on it also... i mean last time i was there i couldn't clear half the stuff on the track 1 kid was doin every jump and he didn't even do them every lap... the kid was also on a rolls design 250r!

i would like to see a track with some nice 30 to 45 ft double and 60 ft table tops on it...

im talkin about the 3rd row that stepup thingy i guess...the 1 that theres a pic of on here, the double after it, then on the last row the last double and i wanna do the big double to.

o ok, the double after the big step up is cake if you hit the step up cause youll have so much speed you can just float over it nice and easy.the 2 doubles in a row are kinda easy too, you just have so f it and do it, youll make it.

i was there last week and i auctually liked the challenge.the big step-up is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be.i came up short on it 5 times and it actually hurts more the closer you land from the take off point.and quad 041 is correct the double after it is cake because once you clear the step-up,you do just float over it.as for the big tabletop,i was unable to get time to clear this one because i was working on other sections of the track and was only able to ride for 2 hours before the quad broke and would hardly run but the times i did hit,no matter where i took of from or how fast i hit it,it set me down perfect unlike the shorter ones that were there that would throw you a million different ways to the sun.yes it may be bigger and tougher than it was but i think the challenge is what will keep people coming back.if i could go to the track and make every jump with no problems,i think i would loose interest too fast and not want to go there as much.the challenge is the rush and makes it fun:D
