Ok , I change the oil and filter, tighten chain, do I need to adjust or check the valves ? I ordered a clymer for it but its 2 weeks to get it from mail. any help will be most appriciated.

nah, dont check the valves for a little while longer. Id wait at least another 10 tanks of gas or so

OIL AND FILTER, VALVE CLEARANCE/DECOMPRESSOR, CHECK CHAIN (ADJUSTMENT IS IN YOUR OWNERS MANUAL) CHECK ALL BOLTS AND FASTENERS (DON'T OVER TIGHTEN THE SMALL ONES)

I have feeler guages and general tools how hard to check valve clearance ? do you know what it should be ?
this is alot diff. from my 250r. and what is the decompression ?
man this manual honda gave me is more like "how to check air in tires " pretty non informative.

ok I need .006 intake and .011 exhaust. maybe i should wait till the service manual gets here ...... just didnt want the "down time" man this thing is really addicting. my buddy just got a 700 raptor. I wanted to go out this weekend and show him he made wrong choice lol. (he has to have reverce)
