I just got my brand new 2005 450r today and i love it. but like every guy he wounders about more power. i am kinda broke for a few months so i can't get my full system exhaust just yet. but i found a good deal on the HRC end caps and air box lids. Do the end caps really help out or no. are they worth it?

I put one on mine and put in a 122 main. The motor is totally stock, and the airbox lid is on as well as the stock filter. It made a nice difference on bottom end which is nice in the woods. It doesn't pull hard like an aftermarket pipe but it is a nice upgrade. I got mine for free and paid $4 for the jet. I would rather spend the cash on nice shocks or revalves than on a $250-500+ exhaust setup. But in my mind if you are looking for a cheap upgrade go ahead and do it because more than likely you will be satisfied with the result.
