atc regulator?

I have an '86R and I was wondering if an ac regulator off of an '85 atc would work? I want to hook up lights to my quad and if this works, Im going to get the trailtech wanna be lights off ebay. thanks let me know.

It'll work just fine, but it won't just plug into your harnass. The ATC has a different end on it.
