plus i dont think there would be any flames if the quad wasnt being revved up because as you can see his hand isnt on the throttle and they r all just sitting there

if you reved the quad, it woul most likelyput them out. i would say it is just unburnt fuell that has collected and casught a spark and is on fire. ii would guess the bike isnt even running.

It has to be real.. when he got tangled up before his killswitch got disconnected maybe he held it wide open trying to save it... he fired it up and just a slight second he got the picture

i think its real. i agree with the unburnt fuel thing.

if you have ever seen the great outdoors, some dudes bike dies and it does one of those while he tried to start it back up.

I know you guys didn't read the race report... I doubt Harlen has the time to photoshop "flames" in on Spader's quad...

I did, however notice that right away when I was reading the report.

He probably just backfired. Rev your engine out, flip the kill switch, still give it gas, and flip the switch back before the bike totally dies out. I know thats not what he did, but looks exaclty like a backfire.
