How hard would it be to but the LT motor in a 250X? I have seen it before and was wondering how hard it is to do. Do you think the frame could handle it and do you even think it would be a good quad? If it is worth it i would be willing to try it out.

I would put it in a 250r frame before a 250x frame. If you put it in a 250x frame you'll never have the front wheels on the ground. Unless you get a longer swingarm for the 250x. What happened to the lt frame?

That sounds like a hellacious quad, I acutally have the same idea, right now i have a stock 250x motor in my 250x frame. I am planning on sticking a 250r motor in there this winter and was wondering if it has ever been done, i know the engine wouldnt be much of a problem to mount up but im thinking the exhaust would be a ***** and a half. If anyone knows anything about this i would like to know, thanks!

I have never seen a lt 500 in a 250x frame, But i have seen a cr 500 in the 250x frame. It was pretty nice too a lil radical but nice!
The fellow that replied that a longer swing arm was needed is correct, This 250 didn't have the longer one ,but, still climbed and jumped with no problems. This bike was at a South jersey sandwash.:)
