Im looking to upgrade to a long travel setup for my 04 450r... im coming from +2 standard travel burgards with triple rate full adjust elkas..

I am looking to get +2 or +3 Long travel arms and either pep, elka or axis shocks..

Tell me what is my best bet to get for my quad.. Im looking to spend around $1500 on a used setup from someone, but just need to know what would be a good setup...

pics would be great also.. show me your setup

companies need to offer financing for suspension. i'm not joking. i'm being serious. i think they're sales would greatly increase. very few can afford a lump sum of 1500 and up. but, anyone can afford $20/month.

yea financing would be great, but i doubt that will happen anytime soon..

Pappy, R3 concepts had some for sale , they were LSR dc-4's and pep big bottles.. i think he sold the package.. .

ahh you are correct, i had walsh on the brain

i run LSR's XC DC4 LT and love it. and i agree, doing a really top of the line suspension set up is pricey, but worth it IMO if your after the best ride. over the years i really did not see much of a difference in LT vs a well set up standard front end, but lately it has been all in favor of the LT. we are switching my brothers standard to LT simply because he is riding at the point where it is needed.

Go with a LSR and elka set up fairly inexpensive. My sponsors set up with elka so that helped but heres a couple poics of mine dont mind it not having a hood the quadtech flatty should be here tomorrow. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v670/yfzrider18/100_5147.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/250ex3/100_5162.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/250ex3/100_5164.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v367/250ex3/100_5165.jpg

i don't own credit cards. they make it too easy to purchase things. before you know it, your in debt so far, that you can never get out. i have a friend that pays $400/month in interest alone.

There is a local parts shop near my house that does Layaway......not to bad of a deal. That's how I bought my Hipers.
