DJ- what class will you race? I would love to see you do very good at the GNCC races this year. I imagine we will see you in the magazines in a few years like we see Borich and Ballance. Good luck! Josh

I'll be there!!! Starting on the front line in the women's class! I was there last year but didn't get to race. Be prepared for hot weather and whoop city! The turns get rutted out pretty good too.

remeber guys, the sand sucks power! you will use at least an extra gallon of gas than you would at a normal gncc. i would plan on pitting twice!
last year i used a gallon a lap on a blaster, i would assume the 450's will use even more than that

I'll be there- just to watch though!!!

I will be there supporting my brother I am not old enough yet

but he is getting parts like crazy to get ready for the GNCC's for his 06 450er

he raced the 16-24 1st year racer last year and was first the 1st and 2nd lap but finished third

He will more than likely be on the 16-21C class line he has been on his road bike and trainer alot and I think he will have something for them this year he is very tuff and has very good endurance and is like an Ironman I sure hope he does good all he needs is to get all his parts in to get some seat time

see you all there
and at the Georgia, and S.C GNCC hopefully

I would but I wanna step up to the 400 and I don't want it to happen in the middle of the season and be stuck between the classes. Know what I mean?:ermm: By the way... this is Lil.

I heard about your great finish this weekend in the Hillbilly race. I wish I could have been there. I haven't been on the quad since the westphalia hillbilly. 2 crashes on 2 starts made me rethink the hillbilly racing. I am not as flexible as I used to be. I will be at the Cassville Nationals Hillbilly and then all of the MHSC races. Good luck in the GNCC- show them how fast a young guy can be. Later Josh

Do ya'll have any tips for a newbie? I've never been to a XC race before and don't really know what to expect. My bike is setup for MX but I have the stock 20/22" tires to put on. I'm about 48" wide in the rear and 50" in the front. I know this isn't really a good setup for XC but I heard you can get away with it at this track.

you'll be fine at the florida track, in fact, having mx suspension might not be a bad idea for all the whoops! this track isnt like any other, you'll be just fine with your LT-R. just back, click it into 5th gear and HOLD ON! lol

hey guys,

well im makin my way out to florida for my first gncc in a couple days. im kinda wondering about what class i should race though. In the ATVCCS in texas i run open A and get 1st and 2nd most of the time and then ive ran the PRO class in the OCCRA series in oklahoma and placed 2nd. I think running a B class would be sandbagging, but i just dont know how fast tha nationals are. which class is faster? OPEN A or 4-STROKE A???

thanks

Austin

the 4 stroke B class is pretty big class, and they have a couple of sandbaggers in there. Lots of competition and lots of fun though. I am glad DJ decided to race the 4 stroke B class just for the experience this year.

It is sure doin him some good to get off of Missouri ground and try his hand at tracks that are sooo different than anything he has ran before. But I can say that the peeps at the MO races are closer. I mean everybody has been so friendly at all the races but the MO people seem to stick together.
