what is the color called, the stock honda paint on my 400ex??

PJ1 Coatings can says 'Honda Silver Sport ATV 1998-2004 Epoxy Paint'

if you need some, rocky mountain has some replacement honda frame paint, it should be the same thing

DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHY THE HONDA FRAM CHIP OFF AT MOST OF THE WEILD AREAS?...
I WONDER IF THEY WERE NOT PREPPED GOOD ENOUGH:(

I think it's a combination of being difficult to prep for mass production and frame flex.

I did a bunch of touching up, mostly around the front part of the frame and the underside. Mine was real bad. Knocked off the loose paint and rust with a wire wheel on a drill and a dremel tool. Primed with a few coats automotive primer, painted with PJ-1, then a few coats of clear. All rattle cans.

It's holding up great, better than I thought it would. I've only been on a half dozen rides or so like this and mostly in the sand though.
