400EX Mac Daddy, it makes perfect sense to put money into one, not everyone wants a 400 or 300, I sure as h#ll don't want a 400. Wicked_raven, after a big bore kit you should get new suspension and tires so you can handle the power better. And also a clutch kit wouold be nice to have to handle the extra power.

i put money into my 250 ex because it is my choice to its my bike and my money so i'll do what i want to with it, unless you want to donate me your bike..didn't think so. the reason i didn't get a bigger bike is because i don't need a bigger bike and also i have a son and wife i am taking care of, i have responsibilities unlike alot of the little boys in here thinkin they are macs and pimps, having their mommy and daddy buying their stuff...

Dude do it just to be different...dont listen to the critics...
a 250ex with a big bore kit in it would be pretty mean..you can make it go as fast as your wallet will let you...go for it;)

A friend of mine is in the process of doing his sons, right now. But since he works a lot, it will proably take a month. But I will keep you guys updated.

not to get off topic, folks, but do you think aftermarket companies should develop a rev box for the 250? i own one as well (it's been piped and jetted) and , even though i probably wont buy a big-bore kit, i've heard a few people thinking about calling certain companies to suggest making a rev box for the 250ex. i've talked to a guy who piped and jetted his 250ex and put on "20 aftermarket rear tires and some other stuff i think and he now hits the rev limiter in 5th gear at HALF-THROTTLE. i've heard several people who wish they didnt hit the limiter so soon after they installed smaller tires. do you all think it's a decent suggestion? i certainly wouldn't mind having a few more thousand rpm's to screw around with.
