I found a cobra exhaust system for a 300ex for 123.95. it's the aluminum version. I want to know if this is a good deal for the price. thanks

Don't waste your time on Cobra. They actually loose power over stock, and are loud as a straight pipe. I'd save another $96.05 and buy an HMF slip on. They have good gains and sound mean!

Yeah hmf is the best for the money. I really like my pipe. Its freaken loud but loud pipes saves lives.;)

HMF Hands Down! The DG is almost as bad as the cobra, but not quite.

i have a full dg on my 250x and for the money a paid for the full kit i was happy.over all i spent maybe $210 on the pipe.it has so muche bottem end that i can pull power wheeles in 1-4 gear.if i could do it again i woul get a full hmf or yoshi.but just to say dg isn't all that bad.

I have had a DG and your right it will give you a massive bottom end. I noticed the change when I went to the HFM. The HMF will give you a power curve across the board from bottom to top nice and even. But when it comes to looks and sound HMF with a nice power curve it is the best bang for the buck 217.00 for a silp on. Just add a elderblock carb and man it will really pump the hps up. Just with the carb and stock motor and the HMF pipe I could run so close with my buddies 2005 400ex. He would kill me on top end but first thru 4 we would be side by side.I can smoke my friends new raptor 350s but if we would go over quarter mile he catchs me due to the 6 gears he is sportting.
