ok how much hp does a stock kfx have? ive heard 35, ive heard 30, and ive heard 32. how much does it truly have?

Stock they usually pull about 30HP according to some dyno testing.

I've seen them run aroun 34 to 37 before.

Stock will vary from 29-31 for a 05-06. the 03-04's have a few less hp. They have changes in the cam timing and some other inernal parts.

aiht thanks guys so with my mods in my profile i should be runnin about 36-37 hp?

No, I would say more around 33 or so to be honest. Edelbrock did a test on a KFX stock and with their carb. I believe it was about 30 stock and around 33 slightly modded. Yours should be similar.

Mine is moded so i don't know from peronal reference, but i've heard and read everything from 63 to 66 mph.

When we Dyno'd my quad i had 26hp stock pipe... after installing a full HMF system I went to 32 hp.... I think the guys dyno is stingy though .,....

Guess im making the right choice on a 06 kfx400
