What type of oil and gear lube to use

What type of oil do you guys recommend to use in my 88 honda fourtrax 300 fwd? Also I want to change the lube in the diffies, what do you recommend for that as well?

For my 300 I use just about anything I get get cheap... Depending on how often you want to do oil changes or if you would rather spend a bit of money to keep the ATV on it's better side you could put synthetic oils in it?

I had a 2000 Honda Recon 250 and have a 2005 Foreman 500 and I use the Honda GN4 10w-40 motor oil for the engine and use the Honda 80w90 saft drive Hypoid gear oil in the diffs. The engine oil has to lube the engine and be able to lube the clutches in the tranny at the same time. Regular motor oil is not engineered to work in atvs properly.
