ok, so i've been doing some reaidng on here. What carb will i notice the bext performance gains, a 41mm fcr carb or a 450r carb? right now i got the edelbrock carb which i forced myslef to like...but i want something different and that will produce more topend etc etc? The edelbrock wasnt bad, But i just want to gain some more if its possible to keep up wiht the 450s. I got my mods in my sig. thanks for any advice

the edlebrock carbs ahve a long history of developement behind em, and imo are te best for teh job if ur not keeping up with the 450's look at something different, maybe gearing, or possibly rider(no offense***) possibly jetting, intake, pipe?....tires...averything other than an edlebrock carb..

oh it keeps up with the 450s no problem and i do have all the stuff done in my sig and thats no lie. but i race district 16 and they dunt put any bore limits on the engines for quads so i am up agiant 450s that are bored out to a 480 and wut not. I am jsut not to happy with the edelbrock and i've heard of people running the 450r carb on their ex but then i hear that people with the 450rs are switchin to the fcr so i am tryin to find the best route to go. I just want to get more of an edge on the 450's.cuz i pulled off majority of the holeshots last year and finished right up in the front off the pack I guess i should of rephrased how i said that.
