Whenever I go pretty fast, then let off the throttle, it backfires pretty bad. Is that something messed up with the jetting? If it is, is it hard to rejet, cause I don't know much about engine repair!!! ;)

do you have factory jetting now?

if you have stock jetting i would recommend re-jetting, and it is not hard at all to jet a 300. oh all engines have compression release and pop but not really bad.

The guy that owned it before me put the pipe on and I don't think he rejetted it. And I didn't rejet it, so I'm pretty sure it's factory getting.
